  Had someone come out to give an inspection and quote before services. Services were scheduled for 2 weeks later. The men completed the work quickly despite having to troubleshoot and do some additional rewiring and rerouting of power. Very reasonable pricing and professionalism. I was previously ghosted by 2 other electric companies. I will be recommending South Alabama Electric Co to everyone moving forward, as they are reliable and do quality work!

  We upgraded several kitchen outlets because some older appliances weren’t fitting securely anymore and the wiring setup felt outdated. The electrician installed safer modern outlets and checked surrounding connections carefully throughout the kitchen. The project took several hours. Compared to before, the outlets feel more secure and convenient during everyday cooking and appliance use. We also appreciated the added peace of mind knowing the kitchen electrical system is now safer and more reliable overall. It’s a practical upgrade that improved both functionality and confidence in the space.

  Called someone out for an estimate on several items. An electrician came out and gave a verbal estimate of approximately $500. He said I would receive an email with a formal estimate within a day. Did not receive the estimate. I called the office, and they assured me they would follow up. I never received the estimate and ultimately had the work completed by Smith Electric, who (amazingly) seemed interested in doing the job. Two stars rather than one because the initial visit was positive and the electrician was knowledgeable and helpful.

  We had a tree come down in the storm from hurricane Berry. They sent an electrician named Gary out who was a great guy and fixed our issues within 2 hours so Alabama power could turn us back on. Within 4 hours we had power again. Highly recommend this company
