I had another company come out and give me a quote for thousands of dollars to replace my entire system because "they didn't have the parts, and couldn't order them" , but Wilson told me they could work with my budget and order the parts needed to repair vs replace the whole system. The people we bought the house from had rigged the garage to work until after they sold. But Wilson techs showed me exactly what was wrong, what they needed to fix, and that it would take time to order the parts, but they were confident they could repair instead of charging me thousands of dollars to replace the whole system. When we are ready to replace both doors, I will be calling Wilson. I trust them to be honest and give me the best deal. They have a client for life!
- HJHarold JusticeApr 13, 20265.0My double garage door malfunctioned and would only go up about one foot. I released the chain catch and tried to lift the door manually and it was way too heavy. The overhead springs were not broken and since they were replaced a few years ago I figured the springs just needed a retension. Scott came a few hours after I called and did the retension on both the double and single doors. Now the doors operate perfectly. Scott was quick and efficient and the labor charge was very reasonable. If the springs had needed replacing then the cost would have been $250 or more. This repair was under $100.
