APCO sent us a letter saying our power meter was having issues. We called Xcalibur and they were there the same day. They did a thorough inspection of our electrical meter and panel. Chad then sat down with us and presented a few options for correcting the issues and some upgrades to get us in code. They have very reasonable financing options. Chad had great communication with the permit and scheduling process, and keeping us in the loop. He and his team worked very quickly and we're done with all the work in the schedules tome they provided us. We are so happy with their work we have signed up to a membership with them and will only use them for our Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC going forward. We look forward to what services they add in the future.

Have now used Xcalber Services 3 times 9 months. All new issues at home, none recurring. HVAC related twice, and Plumbing once. Outstanding scheduling and service overall. Tim was the HVAC Tech Rep for this latest Air Conditioning matter in August. He made an inspection of our HVAC system (in our HOT Attic, corrected improper slope of of our condensate drain line coming from the AHU condensate drain pan, which then properly emptied

Both repair techs were polite, efficient and clean. The problem was explained clearly. The repair required a new part not on their truck so they made a super quick trip to get it. After the installation was finished, the problem was indeed resolved. The cost required some creative financing and I was presented with a shortlist of options offered by Xcalibur. They were very patient and flexible while we discussed a number of choices. Lastly, workmen or repairman wearing shoe covers into a customers house always gets points.

Our air conditioner went out (in Alabama in August) and all other companies that popped up couldn’t come out for another 5-24hrs but Excalibur was out in 30min!! Scoot was very kind and professional and immediately got to work! He then called his partner out here, Isaac, to give us options for a new system vs repair costs. Isaac and Scoot were great! Really want to shout those two out! I really really want to shout Isaac out! Just phenomenal work, very personable hardworking guy! Once we determined next steps Mark quickly came out and set up the portable HVAC systems! Everyone was extremely professional and efficient and friendly!!!

I’ve completed dozens of renovations, and Xcalibur has provided the worst HVAC experience I have ever had—bar none. Xcalibur installed this mini-split system five years ago as part of a complete renovation. It has leaked from the beginning. Initially, the company returned and attempted to address the problems, but eventually it became clear that the system could not be fixed as designed. The heads were installed on interior walls, relying on condensate pumps and long drainage runs through the house. The refrigerant lines were concealed inside the walls. The heads repeatedly overflow and leak, while the concealed lines sweat inside the walls. Both problems have caused extensive water damage to the framing, Sheetrock, hardwood floors, and other newly renovated areas of the property. I have done everything I can to make this system work. I’ve had multiple other HVAC companies inspect it, and they have told me that the system was designed and installed incorrectly. I’ve even resorted to adding visible drainage lines along my interior walls to keep the heads from overflowing, but that still does nothing to stop the refrigerant lines from sweating inside the walls. The leaks continue. At this point, the system cannot be repaired in its current configuration. The heads need to be moved and the refrigerant and drainage lines rerouted outside, rather than remaining concealed in my walls. I wish Xcalibur would take responsibility and correct its installation instead of leaving me to hire another company and spend thousands of dollars fixing a fundamentally flawed design. This installation has caused ongoing damage for five years and marred an extensive and expensive renovation. I am nearly at the point of ripping out the entire system and starting over. Xcalibur should stand behind its work and make this right.
