  Greg Robinson was wonderful to work with! He was on time, he explained things in an understandable way, reassured me things would be taken care of, and then he and Matthew Piper came out as soon as they got the go and installed a new water heater. They weren’t only professional and so kind, they were efficient and tidy. They were the utmost professional contractors, and I’ve been in construction for 15 years, and I know that it’s not every day you experience this level of quality and professionalism. I really really appreciate all they did for me during such a stressful time!

  These guys were awesome! We had a water heater replaced, pressure valve release installed, new faucet and a leak in our tub resealed. They kept me informed every step of the way and even made sure to let me know what to look for in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you, DrainGo. You’ve got some patient, well-trained professionals. From the dispatch to the quality of service. This is my second experience with your technicians and I’m so happy with the outcome.

  ⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience If I could give Draingo zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, my experience with the contractor sent to my home through American Home Shield was extremely disappointing. The technician seemed very inexperienced and unknowledgeable about the issue. He was at my home for hours and appeared to be all over the place trying to determine what was wrong. I did not feel confident that he knew how to properly diagnose or resolve the problem, and after spending several hours at my home, there was still absolutely no resolution. Because I needed my hot water restored, I eventually contacted Around The Clock Plumbing on my own. The difference was night and day. Their technician came out, quickly identified the problem, and was able to get me a brand-new hot water heater installed that same day. It was extremely frustrating to spend hours dealing with a technician sent through a home warranty company that I pay for, only to have another plumbing company come out and immediately diagnose and resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Draingo, and I strongly believe American Home Shield should reconsider sending this contractor to customers, especially for major plumbing or water heater issues. When someone is without hot water and depending on their home warranty for assistance, they need a contractor who is knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of providing an actual solution.

  Robert with Draingo Plumbing provided outstanding service from start to finish. He was professional, courteous, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything he found and what needed to be done. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I really appreciated his honesty, attention to detail, and the quality of his work. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about his customers. I highly recommend Robert and Draingo Plumbing to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy plumbing service.   We have two water heaters that have failed in our home at the same time. One of them had been replaced by Draingo exactly 360 days before through our home warranty American Home Shield.(7/2025) We opened a new claim with AHS and was told that the replacements would be covered. (7/2026) We chose one of AHS approved contractors but because their replacement quote was “too high”, AHS requested a second opinion from Draingo. Draingo’s tech immediately found problems with code violations and “required” modifications for both water heaters totaling over $2200. Reminder, Draingo themselves had installed one of these water heaters less than a year before and now it’s “out of code”. Draingo’s final bid to AHS was lower than the first approved contractor but will cost me the homeowner over $2200 in out of pocket costs! AHS immediately cancelled the first plumber’s bid and offered Draingo as our only option. I did a little research and found that this might be a pattern with Draingo. (See Reddit) Underbid the other plumbers price to get the job and then add significant modification costs for the homeowner to absorb. Lastly, Draingo’s installer from last year in an effort to connect the piping of the two water heaters together, cut one of our drain pans to make it work. When the water heaters failed, the leaking water easily escaped the cut pan and ran down through our floor, walls and ceiling and created a puddle of water three floors below. We now have another mess to pay for. We have opted for the cash-out option and the original plumbing company because we refuse to allow Draingo back into our home to make a new mess. We would not recommend Draingo under any circumstances.
