  Deceived, stolen from, furniture broken, and unfinished work. I had major issues once my deposit was paid. I was given an estimate, paid a deposit, and was given an “updated” estimate for additional work to be completed. This was expected and well-received on my end. However, once the work was completed, the “updated” estimate miraculously became a second invoice. This caused my final invoice to increase 150% of the expected price. During the renovations, an employee stole from my medicine cabinet. The employee in question was removed from the job site going forward but who’s to say he wasn’t moved to another job in someone else’s home. One of the services provided was the moving of furniture. I was happy to pay for this service but was extremely disgruntled to find that more than one piece of furniture was damaged/broken during the move. I was not informed of the damage and I did not discover this until weeks after my project was completed. I had to request multiple times that finish work be completed. I feel as though the professionals should compete a job without the novice having to spot errors and incomplete work. After living with the completed product for a few weeks, I requested that the remaining errors be fixed and was given the response of “it will settle after a few weeks.” It’s been nearly six months and the unfinished spots in the hardwood floor have not fixed themselves nor has the bathroom tile “settled”
