  Great experience! I had a short window of time to get the work done, and the employees were able to make it happen. Very communicative, friendly, and flexible. They will be my first call for any windshield repair needs.

  On April 13, 2026 we were on our way home to Iowa after a winter stay in Florida. We took a rock to the front windshield of our 2025 Grand Highlander about an hour south of Birmingham AL. We called several places and got nowhere until we were referred to Alabama GlassTek. I spoke to Maria. She immediately determined they had our windshield in stock. Then she shuffled the schedule for the afternoon to fit us in in one hour. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a technician who took our car back to the shop. Maria came out and called our insurance company and within 2 minutes our insurance approved the windshield replacement and all the paperwork was good. She really knows her job! She offered us a water. In one hour we were in our car back on the road. Not only did they replace the windshield, they calibrated all the electronics. Not all shops do that. When I first spoke to Maria she did not even ask my name or address. No stalling around, she simply got us in immediately. For two people trying to complete a 1500 mile trip her attitude, the expertise of the technicians and the whole experience was soul saving. We are so very grateful for the service they provided to us.

  I was having issues getting my repair paid for by the dearlership, with Maria’s help it was taken care of quickly, Glastek replaced the windshield in a timely manner while I waited. I had to shop around and they gave me the most economical price. I was well taken care of while I waited, which didn’t take a lot of time from my day.

  Maria is always so welcoming and ready to assist. This is my second time getting my windshield repaired with them and I will always be back. They are honest, reasonable priced and provide quality service in a timely manner.
