- BCBryan CepakOct 23, 20251.0The positive reviews posted are absolutely FAKE. Jack passed away and his deadbeat Son took over. We ordered $25k of hardwood flooring. When time for installation, after $50% he'd been paid upfront several months previously, we were told , "Oh sorry, there are issues with order". Doing research there after, find that the suppliers have not been paid and that Jacks Carpets is on a COD basis with all major suppliers! (Only Cash on Delivery). We ended up having to contact the flooring Mfg directly, paying for our flooring directly to Mfg, and then Jack's doing the installation for the 50% already paid!! This delayed our home over 60days, and involved 45 days of daily phone calls and threats of lawsuits and involving local Houston news crews (Amy Davis channel 2 news) getting involved. NEVER, NEVER consider Jacks carpet (Son) for your flooring. True story.
