  I’m sharing this from review only based on this single visit. Every other visit I’ve made to Higginbotham Brothers in any location has been incredible. However, today was a bit different. Unfortunately, the Stephenville location has a young lady working there who’s redheaded with glasses that absolutely does not understand the term customer service. Rather than having a conversation to discover what piece I might need she simply said “we really can’t help you”. You would think she would ask for assistance from someone with more product knowledge, however she just blew me off and went on her way. I even said I guess I’ll drive over to McCoys lumber and see if they can help and she said “thanks. See you later”. We’re talking simple screws for a junction box. I’m concerned she may not even know what that is. Oh well, off to their competitor. I will certainly go back but she is on the list of retail associates to avoid.

  Higginbothams is a great source for DIY projects and home improvements or repairs! They have a great variety of tools, gardening tools and products, paints, and stains. They have plumbing supplies, small hardware (screws, fasteners, etc.), and household cleaning products for your job, those things you can't find anywhere else. Hunting supplies, bird seeds and houses, and pet supplies round out the animal products. Their employees are always friendly and helpful! Wheelchair parking and entry are easy. We are returning satisfied customers.
