Every machine they rent is garbage. They don't service their machines well, they rent garbage that doesn't work and/or breaks on site and they only have 1 of some machines so when it doesn't work you're screwed you cant even swap it out. They expect you to drive all the way to another store an hour away like time doesn't matter. They don't care that you relied on them and their machine screws you. Definitely don't rely on these machines. lastly tried returning the machine today and found that they have the wrong hours of operation on their Google page so just wasted my time. Arrived at opening time listed on their Google page (7am) only to find out they don't open until 8am. Poor maintenance, poor organization and poor customer service. Had a stump grinder yesterday that needs new teeth, would barely grind anything and the guy on the phone just tells me oh yeah they suck that's just how they are. False! I've used them many times.

I went to rent equipment, and the person who helped me was rude and didn't answer my questions. I think he needs another job or to go and play his game, which is what he did and what he cared about. I also asked the guy who unloads the equipment for a clamp. He said they didn't have any. Bad people. In other words, I won't rent anything there again. I had a bad day going to see those kinds of people there.

I rented a small front end loader/w brush hog or shredder. The shredder had dull blades and I couldn’t finish my job. They claimed it wasn’t supposed to be on there but it was. It just needed replacing and the other John Deere, identical to this one had a good shredder on it. I feel like I wasted some of my money.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
