- TCTim Campbell1 day ago1.0Why does the city cut so many corners and hire people that have zero respect for property owners that have work being done on them? At first I was happy to see the city was replacing my sidewalk since many places want this to be done by the property owner. Little did I know I would have a nightmare soon after. This company hit my lines then didn’t bury the lines due to liability but placed the next sidewalk over the lines that were replaced due to their lack of care for the space. The workers also left trash in the yard and I had to work behind them to clean up their mess. The sidewalk was done and of course these guys damaged my mailbox as well which they had to replace. Then there was the line situation which required me to have to do more work to fix their lack of awareness about utilities again. The city wanted no part of liability and the company they used FD concrete could have cared less about what they left behind. Why did I have to sign a right of way if you cannot make sure you aren’t damaging anything? So I had to escalate this line being buried so I can main my front yard. Stay away from this company and if the city reaches out for right of way ask to explore options if possible. It’ll save you the headache

Fd concrete was hired by the city to re do all the side walks in our neighborhood they left pamphlets on our gates letting us know that they would be working on sidewalks and that if there were cars in the street if they could move them it also stated that if any irrigation lines were installed and they had to pull them out that they would replace everything to how it was. Now that the job is done on our street I still have no irrigation in my yard because of FD Concrete cut my lines out and now they have been giving us the run around it’s going on three weeks already and still nothing has been done. My wife finally spoke with Martha the so called “Manger” and she started to yell at my wife and started to say she didn’t care what was going on because there were more important people to deal with than us. This company is half a star if I would rate it cause the only thing they were good for was for making a mess the side walk already chipped of a six inch piece and it hasn’t even been a month. And as u can see in my picture on my gate they only put half of the grass and left the rest just dirt. The city of San Antonio needs to really look into who they hire as sub contractors because these are my tax dollars and they are being spent on worthless company’s. City‼️ watch how you give out those permits to start the jobs. Shut this company down!! An for Mathew an Martha writing their own reviews on here tell you a lot.
