With homes priced over a 💲million dollars, it’s truly disappointing to see there’s no gated access and that septic systems are being used🤢 At this price point, buyers expect more privacy, exclusivity, and infrastructure that matches the investment. Frankly, it feels like a major oversight that Brightland Homes didn’t invest in a gated community and proper sewer connections. No wonder the community hasn’t sold out. It’s been over three years, and they havent sold half of the 40 home sites. That says a lot.👎 In contrast, when I purchased my Highland Home in Cantera Manor (at the corner of Camp Bullis and Babcock), all 35 homesites sold out in just 14 months. The difference? 🌐That neighborhood was gated, connected to city sewer, and designed with the lifestyle and expectations of high-end buyers in mind. I also previously lived in Westover Hills Estates while it was gated, the septic system was a NIGHTMARE😫. I dealt with constant odors that felt more like a sewer system failure than a luxury home setup. I promised myself I’d never deal with septic tanks again, and I know I’m not the only one. The expectations of today’s luxury homebuyer are clear. Gated access and modern infrastructure aren’t bonuses they’re necessities. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because it’s clear that the current approach is holding this community back🫤
