  We have had several issues with our AC system in the past and have been very dissatisfied with some of the service we have received in the past; however we just received services again and our tech, Michelle, was absolutely AMAZING!! She did the repairs and then sat with us and explained, in detail, next steps that should be taken. We were very satisfied with the service we received from her.

  I would put a zero if possible. I've been a paid member of Elmers Home maintenance for almost a year. Part of that agreement is guaranteed 24 hour service. My AC broke. I called, they said that during the cooling season (you know, when you need AC) that the guaranteed 24 hour service IS NOT guaranteed even though what i signed up for was 24 hour service. I was told that they do guarantee service in 24 hours when there are open slots for technicians in the next 24 hours. DO NOT TRUST what Elmers tells you!!

  Michael Estrada, very informative and helpful. I’ve had many other techs come out and not replace things that needed to be replaced and could be for free under the warranty. Michael came out and was very transparent with the issue with the unit and repaired what could be under the warranty and let me know the best option for what couldn’t. I’m very grateful because the ones in the past did not leaving me with the current problems I have now. Having someone honest about major appliances in the society we have today is RARE!

  I hired Elmer's to repair a sewer line under my house. The crew they sent were rude and acted as though they did not understand English until I spoke to them in Spanish. The were going to cut down one of trees in front of my house and luckily I happened to come home during the day just in time. The did not mention this when quoting the job nor did they inform me before attempting to cut it down. I guess this upset them when I told them "no" to cutting it down. The left shortly after and did not return for a week. The job should have taken 2 weeks and ended up being 4 months. In the mean time, the informed the finance company that the job was done and I started getting charged for the job almost immediately even though the work was not completed. Both Elmer's and their finance company "GoodLeap" are crooks. even after send certified letters to the finance company and emails from Elmer's admitting that the work was not completed, they would not stop demanding payment. This should never happen. As a customer, I should have had the opportunity to sign off on the work that it was completed correctly before Elmer's send it a notice of completion. The work they did was sloppy and did not clean up after themselves, removed sprinkler pipes and left them full of dirt and had to be cleaned out in order for them to work again. They also destroyed my lawn even though I requested they put the dirt on my drive way. My advice to anyone considering using this company is don't do it. I wish someone had told me they were crooks. Not only all of this, but when I refused to pay until the work was done, they started collection processes and put it against my credit even though it took months to get them to come back and complete the work. Do not hire this company! There are plenty of reputable companies out there that will do the same repair without going through what I went through. I later found out that they overcharged me and I could have gotten a better price on top of everything. This was my fault for not reading more reviews.

  Honestly, I wouldnt even give a one star. Did not bring a ladder, kept bringing up how he sued a homeowner because of a dog bite ( brought this up several times). Yes, when I booked the appointment I was specific to have the tech call ahead so we could put the dogs up. My one dog is 13 and deaf and I leashed her and he still kept on repeating the time he sued and was “out for months”. The kicker was when we were talking options. He asked “ Do you want to wait for your husband?” I said no its okay. Again he asked same thing followed by “most women wait for their husbands.” Oh almost forgot, while on the ladder he borrowed because he didnt bring his own, stated it was shaky and said “ Id hate to fall off and be out “. I asked him to get down and we would take care of the rest. If you dont want a lawsuit on your home insurance skip this company.
