- RHRandall HoltApr 20, 20262.0I scheduled an estimate with Comfort Techs AC for a return install and a whole-home dehumidifier, and I made that clear upfront—especially after having a bad experience with another company. The technician who came out was friendly and professional, no issues there. However, the visit quickly turned into an attempt to upsell a larger unit instead of focusing on what I actually requested. Despite redirecting the conversation, I never received an estimate for the work I asked about. The appointment was then closed out with no quote provided at all. So while the service call was free and the tech was courteous, I’m left with no estimate and no progress—which defeats the purpose of scheduling the visit in the first place.

Our AC fan suddenly stopped working in this Texas heat, and he came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and got us cooling again the same day. He walked us through our options, and after careful consideration, we decided to replace our older system with a new Daikin Fit. Benjamin also helped us secure 60 months with zero interest, which made the decision much easier and more manageable for our family.
