  What a joke of a home builder. I’ve NEVER in my life seen such horrible homes. EVERYTHING IS DONE WRONG! How is that even possible? DO NOT hire this company. They are worthless! House out of square by 2+ inches, barley any insulation in the attic, crooked floors, chipped cabinets, bowed walls, shower leaks, missing tile grout, cracked roof trusses, horrible stucco job, leaking water heater, wall plaster cracks. The list goes on and on and on and on……. DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS

  I am a real estate agent, and my wife and I acquired an Ashton Woods Home. We've encountered organizational issues, such as the omission of upgraded ceiling paint and light dimmers we paid for, replaced with regular paint throughout the entire house. Plumbing problems have arisen due to incorrect installation for the water softener, causing water blowback. Unauthorized visits, including unannounced contractors, have left us uncomfortable. The contractor responsible for mold trimming admitted to being new on the job, resulting in incorrect installation and the wrong color. These challenges, especially with my work-from-home situation, have created a considerable inconvenience. I'm currently sitting in my car on the driveway due to a lack of communication during painting. I'd appreciate a prompt and comprehensive resolution to these concerns. I intend to inform any potential clients considering Ashton Woods Homes about the challenges we've faced, emphasizing that the treatment has not been satisfactory.

  I was so excited to finally to build my new home and was so surprised on how promises were made and were broken. I can't even get anyone to call me now. I have a hole on the side of my house where they left brick off at the very top. Never got the move in gift. Never got my yard fixed and the sewage problems that came up the day after we moved in are still giving us problems. Planning on suing

  We bought the model home in December 2018. We were told after our final walk through to be sure to let them know in about a week or so of anything additional that needed fixing. The refrigerator does not dispense ice or water and the floor was damaged in the office from the salesperson from Ashton Woods. We were told that they would take care of it verbally but didn't get it in writing. HUGE mistake. They have bounced our request from person to person and now refuse to repair anything. We were told we bought an "as is" house although that verbiage was NEVER used in negotiations and now we are paying for it. Not to mention the drain pan to our air conditioner was improperly installed and caused a leak from the attic down into the kitchen which we are dealing with now. For this I had to submit the same warranty request three times because they will bounce it from person to person and close it without doing a thing hoping you'll let it go. They are unethical and unprofessional. Lesson learned about how kind they are before you sign the papers - get it all in writing because everyone conveniently will have amnesia once the deal is done about promises made.
