  My house is 13 years old and the garage door was making a lot of noise going up and down. Remembered the company from their radio commercials and scheduled a call. Aaron Terry, their tech came by and explained that garage door opening systems have a life and showed me how my system was at the end with frayed cables, bad springs, etc. He provided a reasonable quote and came back the next day with all the parts and the job was completed very professionally and efficiently. Strongly recommended Gator if you’re having troubles.

  Cody is very knowledgeable about garage doors. He’s professional and courteous, gave us some advice about garage door maintenance. I have no hesitation in recommending Cody and Gator garage doors to anyone needing repairs or maintenance. The star taken out is basically affordability. If it’s more affordable I’d have given it 5 stars. But inflation is here I guess

  Antonio from Gator Garage Door Repair was our service technician. He was kind, personable and never at any point did he come off as pushy trying to sell us a service or product. Usually when I'm out shopping, I always avoid the sales people trying to sell their services by taking a non-preferred route. With Antonio, I was comfortable! Antonio took the time to understand our needs while also providing recommendations which helped provide a future outlook of what our upcoming garage needs may be. He also made sure that we understood everything. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service received and I'm happy to say that I will be using Gator Garage Door Repair for my future garage needs.

  Early this afternoon my wife got home and could not get inside the garage. The door barely went up and would go back down. We tried to open the door again and it got stuck halfway open. Thank goodness we found Gator Garage Door Repair on Google. They were actually able to send someone out on a Saturday later in the day. They told us the time the repair man would be by and he showed up at the time it was scheduled. Cody introduced himself and took a look at the door. Cody was so knowledgeable and helpful. He told us exactly what was wrong with the door and what caused it to malfunction. After assessing the door, Cody explained to us everything he needed to do in order to fix the door. Cody fixed the door and his positive attitude made what appeared to be a headache into a stress free situation for us. I was worried we were going to have to go the entire night with our door halfway open. Cody was very nice. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know who may need their garage door fixed. Also I would recommend Gator Garage Door Repair for services as well. The receptionist was nice and very helpful and the prices were affordable as well. These guys get a 10 out 10 and 2 thumbs up from me! Great job guys!

  Wish I had gone elsewhere. TLDR: Won't stand behind their work & be prepared for the upsell! My ~20-year-old home has a standard 16x8 garage door with a single spring. After the spring broke, I called for a spring quote, provided the dimensions, and was given a reasonable price. However, when the technician arrived, he immediately claimed they 'don’t do single springs' on this door size and that I 'must have two'. Additionally he provided an astronomical quote for a complete new track system. Despite this door working perfectly with a single spring for two decades, he only agreed to do the requested repair after I stated I would go with another company. I also opted to have the rod bearing and all rollers replaced with 'quiet' ones. The result? The door is now noisier than it has ever been. When I called them back to address the irritating squeaking, the technician’s only solution was to charge me extra for a 'lube service', which I did not do. This should have been addressed as part of the initial work. It’s frustrating to pay for 'quiet' upgrades only to have the door sound worse than before. Now that it’s getting colder, it's getting worse. I cringe every time I close the door. I truly wish I had gone elsewhere. Positive notes: Technician was professional, knowledgeable and polite. Arrived when scheduled with real time updates when in route.
