They are selling ticking time bombs disguised as homes, knowing full well that once you sign the paperwork, you are on your own with a defective house. My house is riddled with various defects, and instead of honoring their responsibility, they send out clueless, unqualified people like their own project managers to slap together temporary “fixes” while hoping you just give up. I took my complaints all the way to their general counsel, and guess what? Still nothing. This is not a misunderstanding—this is a deliberate pattern of deception and willful disregard. They will drag their feet, ignore your emails, and do everything possible to avoid accountability. They do not care if your home is falling apart. They do not care if you’re financially devastated. They do not care about you. DON’T BE FOOLED by their flashy promotions and offers. That is part of their plan to induce you. They use gimmicks and so-called incentives to lure buyers in, but once you close, the nightmare begins. If you’re considering buying from Ashton Woods, DON’T. RUN. FAST. You are better off setting your money on fire than handing it over to this company. For such a significant investment, I’m surprised by the way they treat homeowners.
