  Trevor came out from Shrader plumbing on Friday to a difficult situation. Our building was built in 1971 before it was a law to have a cleanout every 75 feet. He spent several minutes looking for another cleanout beside the two that I showed him. Then it took a while longer to determine that one cleanout went to the street, while the other served 2 buildings (we thought there was one cleanout for each building). His cleanout took could not clear the blockage, so he returned the following day with a high-pressure cutting device that is like a giant pressure washer on a trailer. He found multiple spots where brown paper towels had been flushed into the plumbing line by people of another culture who didn't know better. Anyway, he also got some mud coming back, so we are now aware that one of the pipes laid in 1971 has rusted through and we have a leak under our slab. We will be getting a camera investigation of this and then getting an estimate for a major job to fix this problem that can't be ignored. What I admired about Trevor was his determination to at least get the toilets flushing because our church has 4 congregations the use the building and we needed things working by Saturday night. About 3:30 Saturday afternoon, he gave me the "all clear." Trevor was great about explaining everything he was finding, helping us understand the layout of our pipes, and answering all our questions. His tenacity and persistence brought us back to being operational. And he gave us some tips to implement so that we can take time to raise the money for more extensive repairs. Trevor also had to deal with another problem there caused by a well-meaning individual who was trying to help but cut through a pipe because he didn't know he could just unscrew the hose bib and replace it. That also had to be fixed before we could turn the water back on. I appreciate Trevor's flexibility to roll with the punches but keep on working until our problem was solved. If the other workers at Schrader Plumbing are like him, I can recommend them without any reservations.

  I’ve tried numerous plumbing companies over the years and can honestly say I am done searching, this plumbing company was fast and efficient. The plumber that came out was John. John listened to what is was trying to explain, verified we were on the same page, he gave me a reasonable quote and proceeded to get the job done in less than 15 min. This job was the exact job that a plumber from a different company told me the day before that I should just replace my 2yo bidet, that he’d try to fix it but he might break it! He said all that even with a video the mfg sent with step by step instructions. His quote was $600. I sent him on his way. So glad I did vi found my forever plumber today. John was efficient, courteous, polite and most of all he did a great job for a price that didn’t break the bank. Highly recommend this company!

  We had an outstanding experience with Casey and his apprentice Austin from Shrader Plumbing. They did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing our slab leak quickly and professionally. Before calling them, we had another plumber come out who immediately tried to sell us on replacing our water heater and granular activated carbon system — both of which are completely fine. It was such a relief to have Casey take the time to thoroughly assess the situation and correctly identify the real issue instead of pushing unnecessary replacements. Casey also went above and beyond by figuring out that our water heater was still under warranty. He ordered the necessary parts and handled the repair, saving us a significant amount of money. Throughout the entire process, he took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done and why, which we really appreciated.   Within the last 2 years we have spent over $30k with this company, from complete re plumbing of my home along with sewer main, they recently installed a hot water heater for us, their plumber installed it incorrectly ( wired to the wrong phase) because of their negligence our hot water heater was not wired correctly and almost burned our house down therefore having them have to come back out and replace our hot water heater via warranty and then wanting to charge us $575 for their mistake. That I do not agree with. Thank you Great guys, but will nickel and dime you to death. When you pay top price, you expect top customer service. UPDATE - Jon Schrader reached out to me personally after reading the review. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue we were having! Very thankful for that! Will be happy to use them again.

  It started when I called them and told them about the plumbing issue I have. They told me over the phone that they won't collect any payments till finding the issue and giving me an estimate of repair. As soon as they arrived, they collected $295 to start looking for the issue. After finding the very tiny leak in the water pipe above the foundation in the wall behind the sink, they said the only repair to it, is to repipe that line for $4000 and no other cheaper solution to it. I told them I don't have that much of money now, can you repair it temporary somehow. they said no the only option is to repipe that only one line for $4000. I looked for another plumber on the same night, they came right away and did the fix for $395 and problem solved and offered me the repipe option for only $1400 not $4000. I called Schrader to give feedback and request refund but they left me no option but leaving this review as for the whole conversation with the manager, he was saying that his technician was right and everything was done right and that's how they do business and not even looking at my frustration about the situation. I just don't like when others think that I'm stupid and that I will let go the hard working money I make that easy.
