  I had to take the time to write to a honest review about an awesome and extraordinary special sales rep. Mrs. Lillian Pham @ Brightland/DRB Homes. Lillian saw me through the whole process of buying my 1st home with the skills of integrity, professionalism, knowledge, and courteous prompt attention to answer question and bring clarity to all that were involved in the whole process of buying a home. Lillian works well with these listed attributes with everyone and definitely made my home buying experience very comfortable and pleasant! She introduced me to a few of my neighbors who were around. She kept me abreast of what all I needed to do at each step, Mrs. Lillian was there for me. To anyone purchasing a home at DRB, ask for Mrs. Lillian Pham, she is a phenomenal, knowledgable, professional, and courteous sales agent that I Highly Recommend with integrity!   Brightland homes is a Texas based builder that has begun to expand to a few other states. They used to be Gehan Homes but change a couple of years ago. Construction quality is very good and the layouts are generally appealing to me. They often have good specials on rates, which are partially dependent upon a number of different factors. Out here in Manor they are a midtier level builder, so they are great for first time homebuyers that aren’t trying to pinch every single penny. On the other hand, they’re also not that expensive either. Like every home builder, they have a lot of negative reviews online, but this is just what you expect because when something does go wrong usually people complain, and when it doesn’t, they don’t go out of their way to talk about their satisfaction. In my opinion, they’re pretty good and if you can get a home that is still a few months from being completed then you have opportunities to get inspections. Best practices are to get your own Inspector, and have them do a pre-pour inspection when the foundation has been laid out, but not poured, and then do another inspection at framing before the sheet rock goes in so the electrical can be checked and the plumbing. And then, of course, there is the Pre-closing inspection. So there’s three inspections that if you get your home early enough in construction that you can and should do. If you have any questions about these inspections, I have a tremendous Inspector and I am happy to advise you. Buying a new home from any builder can be as complicated as buying a resale home, and in many ways more, so if you want any advice or have any questions feel free to reach out to me, I will post a photo of my card.
