  I order my system in dec they said should have it by the 2nd week in jan. I called they said waiting in parts. Call close to Feb said waiting in parts. Call again in Feb they got the parts and came and installed. Tracked mud in the house. Did not test the water system like they said they would. Did not put cover over softener like they said they was. Called them on that they said the cover was on back order. They would have it put in by end of week. Two weeks later I had to call again they said the just got them in and will be there weds the next week to put in. Guess what a no show. Called again talk to someone that said was the manager. Said they tech could not get all done that day. Rescheduled for the following Tuesday. They came out less then 15 mins in the alley way put cover on and left not even coming to door. Still not have water tested after the put system in. Not happy at all! No good at communication. Lies lies lies.

  The service received from the technician was great. My only problem with the whole thing is that the membrane for our RO system had to be ordered. I was told before Christmas that it was on backorder and it was only installed today March 2.

  Update: Do not overlook this 1 star review. I have called Kinetico repeatedly for three weeks before I got an answer. We've had our water softener for 4 months, and in that time we couldn't even use the softener for half of the time due to installation issues caused by Kinetico. To this day, we still can't use our water softener, and the business owner is refusing to refund us. I will be going with Tadlock. Original review: I cannot recommend Kinetico based on my experience. Since the installation of our water softener system, we have experienced multiple leaks, multiple pipe freezes, and ongoing disruptions. We were specifically told that the float would be replaced and that the outdoor unit would be insulated; those actions were not completed. As a result, during the January freeze, our pipes froze. I spent hours outside attempting to thaw them before ultimately having to shut off the main water supply. We were without running water for several days and were forced to stay in a hotel. I also had to pay out of pocket to have the exterior pipes insulated. I work from home, and these issues created a significant disruption to my business. Despite all of this, the water softener is still not usable. What has been most disappointing is the lack of communication. I formally requested reimbursement and a refund in writing and have followed up multiple times by phone. Each time I was told the issue would be “escalated,” yet I have not received a call back from a decision-maker or any meaningful response. The financial loss, time spent dealing with repairs, and repeated inconvenience have been substantial. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to ask detailed questions about installation, insulation, and warranty coverage before moving forward.
