  Let me start by saying I do not like leaving negative reviews, this is actually my 1st one. I took and older generac diesel generator to be repaired. The 1st time then did not replace any parts but "adjusted" it, it did not fix it and cost me $1500. Took it back and left it with them leaving instructions that I was leaving town in a week and would be needing a working generator. At the last minute I call to check the status , and they finally call me back and state it needs a part. Since its last minute I have to pay for overnight shipping, but to their credit they did stay late to try to repair the generator. When I pick it up its raining buckets, but it seems to be working, but cannot test it as well as I would like, but I was leaving the next day and had to have it. They did not charge me at the time stating they wanted to make sure it was working correctly, which I thought was very considerate. Low and behold it was doing the same exact thing, and ruins $2200 worth of equipment I had hooked to the generator. Only problem is I was in another state to work and had to have the generator. I had to purchase another generator while I was there and purchase a trailer to bring this one home not working. When I got home they called me to see how the generator worked, and I let them know it did not and I had to purchase a new generator. I was out of state working 14 hour days 7 days a week and could not deal with it while there. I understand they did their best and things just go wrong. My problem is they then billed me for another $1800 for a repair that did not work. It is having the exact same problem it had from the beginning. So now I have paid them over 3k for nothing. I understand paying for the part and shipping, but I surely covered that with the initial $1500 that did not fix the generator. This is not acceptable customer service in a repair industry, they should stand behind their work or at least made some attempt to make the situation right. I paid the final bill today and will move on.

  Everyone I have dealt with, from the estimate process to the installation, to the office staff answering my questions, has been very professional. They have maintained contact with me to make sure I am satisfied. They are an excellent company to do business with.

  I needed a part ordered for my Generac home generator. My experience from beginning to end was great. In particular, Heather was a big help and I couldn't have asked for more friendly and personalized service. The whole team at Commercial Electric is outstanding!
