- JJJudy Jones3 days ago5.0Recently while checking my email I discovered a message from the gas company saying I owed an astronomical amount. They sent a technician out to see why and found a pressure release valve on my hot water heater was leaking causing the water heater to never stop heating water. I called Bob at Excalibur and was delighted to find he would come help that very day! The gas company had turned off the gas till the issue was resolved so we were not looking forward to being without hot water. Excalibur showed up promptly as promised, gave me a very reasonable quote and went to pickup the parts to fix our problem. He returned within the hour and did an excellent job restoring our water heater back to good working order. Very happy and we will not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing work. Highly recommend.

They managed to wrangle a new 50 gallon water heater into a small closet, added a new pan, and flood stop device. They even went into the attic to test all the connections. Since then they’ve installed flood stop devices for my aging mother-in-law and my daughter. Every time they come the plumbers are friendly, helpful, and technically competent. Today I got master plumber Curtis. Even though it was just a simple flush and general system check, he tested our house’s water pressure, vacuumed out the water heater closet, and told me some useful tricks to prevent future service calls. Very thorough and reasonably priced. Curtis comes from a family of professional plumbers. It shows.
