  We purchased a move-in ready home, and our experience was great from start to finish. Amanda helped us not just when looking at the houses but throughout the rest of the closing process. Ryan was great to work with on the construction side, and Humberto was very helpful during one of our visits. We were provided a clear process for getting ready to close, and Amanda and Ryan were very communicative, open to questions, and walked us through everything.

  I am an actively licensed real estate appraiser. So buying into a quality long term community was important for us. Hawkes Landing fit the bill. This house seems to be constructed well also. Our home feels energy efficient and we didn't opt for the solar panels. We've been in our home for a short while now and with all the weather changes, we've barely had to adjust our thermostat much. It's much more energy efficient than our last home which was smaller. And the water gets warm quicker than our last home at the faucet point even though we're almost in the winter season now and have had much cooler days. Overall, great decision buying right next to Divine Lake Park, near so much with a lot of growth potential still and Ryan the construction manager makes the transition easy.   Let’s start with the fixtures in the bathrooms. I got brushed nickel throughout the house but they installed satin nickel finishes in the bathrooms. They don’t match...at all. Not even near close. House was unfinished the day before closing. Tile on backsplash missing and missing tile in the master shower. They installed tile on closing day but didn’t finish and certainly did not clean up their mess. Build manager sent me pics of the work they did showing me they actually finished installing everything because I was not signing until they finished their work. I’ve read the horror stories about that. Anyway, I get back after signing and backsplash is a mess, countertops too. Missing caulk in multiple spots. Build manager said he’d have someone out to clean when we were there. Guy came early and never came back. Waited until 3pm (we were only going to be there from 10-2 to paint the garage floor) but he never showed back up. Very disappointed. New house and you can’t even clean up your mess? Don’t expect a clean house when it’s done. They don’t have someone come clean it beforehand. They clean once or at least they did with mine because there was mud all over the carpet at one point. They won’t clean again after that one time. Overall feeling is disappointed. Thought I was getting a finished product.
