- MKMark KunnemannAug 13, 20255.0Bryant heat pump system installed 2017 gave an error not communicating. After homeowner checked various things after a Google search. GVEC technician checked system and found a system board had power , but wasn't responding. Follow up phone call said part was covered under warranty and we would be notified when it arrives. I am very satisfied with the customer service following up on the repair. Notified via text that technician was in route for repair. Both technicians were outstanding. System working again and follow up phone call was very much appreciated.
- DDDaleAug 8, 20251.0I have been happy with GVEC electric and Internet. I enrolled in the preventive maintenance plan. Several days after their last inspection our humidity drastically increased. Flaring allergies. Called new inspection said we need duct repair and recommended a RemiHalo air purifier system. I spoke with the sales person who described a wrap of the duct system and RemiHalo air purifier. I was very clear we wanted the RemiHalo LED. They assured me it was the LED (lasts longer and does not cause odors). I received an invoice for RemiHalo zero and duct sealing. I and my wife both spoke to the technicians emphasizing we only wanted the RemiHalo LED. We were assured several times it was LED. Two technicians worked less than one hour. We developed bad smell trigging allergies in all of the family. Still had high humidity. My wife working with the thermostat realized settings had been changed from auto to continuous. She changed them back to pre inspection auto and humidity Dropped. I made my concerns known was given a supervisor who promised to get back with me but didn’t. The units they installed costs $600 x 2. Not sure what the putty costs but bill was for $4500. So labor of two technicians (indeed says GVEC pay for ac technicians is $26). So was charged $3000 for two hours labor. Had the wrong and lessor quality cost air purifiers placed. I’ve had the $3000 labor fee justified by calling it a service fee or flat rate. So if anyone reading this is told you need duct wrap and the “best” air purifier. Check your ac settings first. Call someone other than GVEC.
