- ECErin CastanedaOct 23, 20231.0I bought a house less than a year ago which was our first house and we were so excited but buying a gehan (now brightland) has been such a let down. I can’t get the contractors to email me back about completing work that was promised when we signed the contract and our 90 day walk though has not even been touched. We are about to be on our year walk and I don’t even know when any of that work will be complete. We also have two windows that were not built correctly so we feel the outside weather inside which is messing with our electric bills. They tried to argue that one of them were just fine but there is no way I could have my parents stay there when they visit because of it being a fire hazard. They wouldn’t be able to even lift the window. We want to start decorating our house but we can’t because they have to do work that will ruin whatever we do. You’re better off renting a house because landlords are more responsive than this joke of a company.
