I had the plumber to come out to give me a price to replace a valve on my refrigerator water line. He took some pictures of the area and asked how old was the house. Then he went and looked under my sink and told me I had copper pipes and asked if I thought about changing out all my pipes in the house. Coppers were no good and he named some other pipe they use. He then gave me a price of 129.00 a month to do the pipe work. I told him I was only interested in getting a quote for the refrigerator line. To replace the valve was 450.00. I told him I wasn’t ready today to spend that much today. The valve itself is less then 10.00 and I had the braided hose already. No service done and will not call them back for service.

I called Texas Quality Plumbing Company today to see if they could come out and check my toilet. I was so blessed to get an appointment the same day. Richard came out & fixed my backed up toilet that was acting up. He did an excellent job with get the toilet unclogged. He was very professional and he explained to me the situation with the toiler! I was so scared that the toilet would run over. But he assured me that he would make sure it get taken care of. In wish he took good care of the toilet. I am so grateful that God lead me to this Company. I love calling Texas Quality Plumber Company for anything.
I had another great experience with Oscar from Texas Quality Plumbing. This time, he completed an annual water heater flush and general plumbing maintenance for my home. He was professional, thorough, and took the time to make sure everything was running efficiently. He also explained what he was doing and pointed out a few helpful maintenance tips, which I really appreciated.
Everything was left clean and in great working condition. Reliable and knowledgeable service as always—I highly recommend!

First, I was not informed in advance that the technician would be late. I waited during the scheduled time window, and no one arrived. Only after I reached out did I receive a message stating that the technician would be late, without any prior notice or apology. Second, during the scheduling process, I was clearly told that the cost would be determined after inspection, not beforehand. However, when the technician arrived, I was immediately quoted $450 (which is too much for the work requested!) before any proper inspection, which was unexpected and significantly higher than usual. Additionally, the job itself took approximately 15 minutes and appeared to be a relatively simple fix. Given the short duration and nature of the work, the final charge seems excessive. Moreover, after the job is done (the technician was a good guy) , I contacted several times but they didn't respond.
I found this company on Thumbtack, and they were the first to call, so I decided to go with them. A few days later, Cedrick M arrived and quickly told me there was nothing wrong with my plumbing line and that the issue was simply that my toilets were “weak,” which he said was why my tenants were experiencing clogs.
I was confused and asked for clarification because these are newer toilets, and I never had issues with them while I was living there. He suggested the clogs could be caused by the amount of tissue being flushed or what was being flushed.
He then quoted me $300 per toilet to unclog them — $600 total for two toilets. At that price, it would make more sense to replace the toilets entirely, so I declined the service.
Shortly afterward, my tenants texted me saying that he told them I had blamed them for clogging the toilets. That is absolutely not true. I was simply asking questions and he suggested the toilets might not be able to handle what was being flushed.
I found it very unprofessional that he would say something like that to my tenants, especially since it could have caused unnecessary tension between us. Fortunately, my tenants are reasonable and we cleared up the misunderstanding right away.
Because of this experience, I’ll be going with another plumber. Overall, the situation felt unprofessional at best and petty at worst.
