- TLTiffany LaSalleOct 25, 20252.0I just want my earnest money back that I was told I would receive and its crazy to have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to only find out after having to practically harass about the status of my refund. I was told it was mailed and I never received it. I couldn't even be provided proof of a tracking number or anything related to show me it was mailed out. The sad thing is how much they stay in contact with when they think they are going to make a sale but dissappear when it doesn't go through. Customer service is not about what you get out of a sale but about building lasting relationships because ib the end you never know who someone knows.

Due to my pending divorce I couldn't move forward with closing and requested to cancel the contract and receive my refund. They offered to extend the closing 1 month and then charge $500 a day after that. Without certainty of when Id received my final divorce papers I decided to cancel. They refused to refund $2,000 and then sold the home a week late for $25,000 more.
