  Wow! Ivan came in and diagnosed a couple issues leading to my problem that I had today. He genuinely cared about teaching me about how to care for my system and tips on how to save on my electric bill. He was extremely professional and honestly the best AC technician I've ever met. I highly recommend this company and primarily because of my experience with Ivan! Thank you!!

  I had a terrible experience with One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating. The technician, Saul Velasquez, checked my AC and said the capacitor was weak, so he replaced it — but the issue was still not fixed. He didn’t do a proper inspection, seemed unsure of what he was doing, and was even googling things while diagnosing. Then he told me the compressor was bad and quoted me $2,528 for a new one plus $450 for the capacitor. I called another company for a second opinion, and they found the real problem was the AC contactor, not the compressor. They fixed everything for under $300, and my AC works perfectly now. One Hour Air tried to charge me thousands for unnecessary repairs. Very dishonest and unprofessional. I do not recommend this company.

  I contacted this company to get a quote on a simple air duct cleaning. As soon as the guy got here he told me how if it was fiberglass he couldn’t do it, so I KNEW what was next. Of course he said it was fiberglass and he couldn’t do it and guess what! Oh yes…we need to replace our ducts. Sur-prise sur-prise. I told him we are currently a one income household and there is no way we could do that. He then proceeded to work up an estimate. There were three. $7k, $9k and $11k. And that doesn’t include fixing the drywall they will tear up (of course). He then got his boss on the phone and he said he could get it down to $5k. What a waste of everyone’s time. THEN they have the nerve to ask for a review?!? Well here it is. I will NEVER use this business. And I’m sure they will respond to this and say they only recommend what is blah blah blah. Save it.

  They appear nice enough if they’re doing a one off repair that’s very minor and are trying to sell you one of their service contracts. Any deviation in your system during any service call and it turns into a diagnostic call which of course encourages an extra fee. A diagnosis in my opinion was inconclusive and no maintenance was performed although that was the original and only reason for scheduling. The explanations provided by the technician, Rama, and his manager, Carl, were of course, vague and nonsensical. The window for the service call was of course from 8 AM to 12 PM in which the technician, almost predictably shows up at 11 AM. Do not purchase one of their service contracts, unless you are completely hands off or have a complete lack of understanding about how your air conditioner functions.

  I called this company in trust of their many reviews… I needed a service a couple days ago, the home had a working AC unit but some how it was not blowing cold air inside the home. They sent a technician (Brady) in for $99. After about an hour or so, technician called to say: “There was nothing wrong with the fans, I checked the wires, jump started the AC unit, but the thermostat is broken and needs to be replaced”. So I asked what it meant $, to which he said: “I have two thermostats here, one for $700 and another for $600”. It’s company pricing and can’t really do anything about it.” I don’t know where all the good reviews come from, or this was just this one technician’s poor assessment, but my experience with ONE HOUR AC & HEAT was NOT good at all. The same thermostat costs between $140-$150 at Amazon… and after I called another contractor, he went in the next day, RESET the thermostat, rechecked main AC unit and reinstalled the thermostat I already had in the house… and the problem was fixed. I felt the technician was not truthful or was simply unknowledgable or what the real problem was and based on his assessment, COMPLETELY OVERCHARGED for something NOT NEEDED. I cannot recommend this business at this time.
