When I had a little grease "emergency," I made one call and they came out same day! They were very professional, much better than previous companies I've worked with. I would highly recommend First Texas Grease to anyone!

First Texas Grease has been AMAZING for my fry oil collections! They’ve always been convenient, professional, and timely. Compared to a couple other companies I’ve used in the past that just caused me headaches. I had an emergency at my restaurant after hours around 11:30pm luckily Cameron answered immediately and had someone to my restaurant within the hour! They even power wash my bins, patio and hydro jet bi-annually for free everything is always clean! (Compared to the $30 other companies usually charge per month) Cannot express my thanks enough for this company.
Frequently Asked Questions About First Texas Grease
I don't have much space for a big container, so what should I do?
We understand space constraints in smaller establishments. For restaurants with limited space, we offer 55-gallon barrels that can be placed discreetly, even inside your restaurant. If you have high volume needs, we can increase our service frequency for cooking oil disposal at no additional cost to you, ensuring efficient management of your limited space.
Why should I switch from my company to yours when my company pays me for my oil?
While we don't offer direct payment for oil, our services provide greater value to your establishment. We include complimentary hydro jetting, a service typically priced at $450 per hour with a two-hour minimum. This preventative maintenance can help you avoid costly plumber visits and additional trap cleaning expenses. Our priority is keeping your business operational through our comprehensive services, including cooking oil disposal. We also offer free dumpster pad pressure washing, helping maintain a pleasant environment for your customers.
My grease trap is in a lower-level parking garage. How can this be cleaned?
At First Texas Grease, we've developed a solution for this common challenge. We use a custom-built trailed vacuum tank unit designed to navigate the clearances of any parking garage. This equipment allows us to service large grease traps that are inaccessible to our standard tanker trucks. Our team makes multiple trips between the trap and the truck to ensure thorough grease trap pumping and cooking oil disposal.
What is a hydro jet?
A hydro jet is a specialized tool we carry on all our trucks, connected to our pressure washers. It features a thin hose with a unique nozzle configuration: one nozzle points forward while four point backward. We insert this into your lines, and upon activation, it effectively breaks down accumulated grease on the surfaces. As we retract the line, it removes the loosened grease. This method is particularly effective for grease removal and cooking oil disposal, providing a thorough cleaning of your system.
Does First Texas Grease only pump grease traps?
Our services extend beyond grease trap pumping. We also handle lint traps, grit traps, oil/water separators, lift stations, septic tanks, and wastewater systems. Essentially, we can pump out and clean any non-hazardous material, offering a comprehensive range of services to meet various commercial needs.
The city is harassing me and I don't have my manifest. What do I do?
We recognize the importance of proper documentation in the cooking oil recycling industry, which was valued at $1.7 billion in 2022 according to IBISWorld. To assist our clients, we've implemented a digital system where we scan and upload all service manifests to our customer portal. This portal is set up on the day you become our customer, providing you immediate access to your service records. This system allows you to easily demonstrate your compliance with city regulations regarding grease trap pumping and cooking oil disposal services.
