  This company did work for us in 2000 and when I replaced the floors with tile recently. Same people have been there the whole time (which says a lot). They are good people with good crews.

  I hired Design Carpet to take out the existing carpet and upgrade with laminate floors! I must say they came out amazing! The crew paid attention to all details and were very professional! I highly recommend them to anyone! High quality products & quality work!

  The porcelain tile installer arrived promptly. After I explained the issue with the tile, the installer gave me the options I had to replace the tiles. He listened to me and made sure that I understood how the job would be performed. It was obvious he had many years of experience. He was friendly and and did not make a mess. I did speak to some of the office staff also. They were all professional and made the job run smoothly. This was my first time to use this company and I recommend them.

  To be fair, we hired Design Carpet Inc, Flooring America to replace all the carpet and tile flooring in our home in order for the sale of the house and they did that, we have new carpet and tile flooring in the house, it's the way and the nightmare it became during the process that was an experience i wish never to relive again. The estimator came out and took the measurements and gave a quote in a timely manner. Once the contract was signed it took a week and a half to get the job started. The “project manager” never came out during the process at all to make sure everything was being done correctly and it wasn’t. The job the tile crew did was very sloppy, getting the cement everywhere, on the painted walls, to the point that the walls now need to be painted to cover the stains the cement made on the paint. It's also on the wallpaper in both bathrooms, the cabinets, the sinks, and the countertops. We were without both toilets for a full day, using the backyard all day long. When they were “finished”, the refrigerator, the washing machine, the dryer and the guest bathroom toilet were not reconnected for at least a week. The first time plumbers came to reconnect the primary bathroom toilet, they demanded $400.00 payment for the reconnections of the toilets on the spot. I called the main office and informed the plumber that the carpet company would pay him and he got very upset. We were told there would be a period of 24-48 hours for us to move things back into place and move our possessions from the carpeted areas before the carpet crew would start, and that was the first of so many lies we were told. The tile crew left at 4PM on Thursday and the Carpet crew showed up at 9AM Friday morning with a female project manager who managed to break a $365.00 bottle of cologne without even offering to replace it, along with the chandelier in the dining room was broken too. In order for them to start working, she insisted that our hound dog be placed in her crate and we did. Her crew put large pieces of furniture on top, and along all sides blocking air flow around the crate. When checking on her she was terrified and shaking so badly it took hours to calm her back down, and we kept her with us the rest of the day. Her crew replaced the carpet in 3 bedrooms, the main hallway, the dining and study in 3 hours. She left at noon with only the primary bedroom and living room left to carpet, the crew got lazy and finished at 7PM Friday night. Again done with a sloppy look to it, I can easily see the seams in the majority of the rooms and especially in the living room. We finally got them to send the plumbers back out to hook back up the refrigerator, the washing machine and the guest toilet after a week of being without them. As soon as they left, they charged our credit card without our permission or to see if anything else was wrong since the dryer was still not operating because it wasn’t hooked up. I have major heart surgery and other health problems. I shouldn’t have to pull out washers and dryers to reconnect them, but since they refused to do so, I had to get it done since they won't do it. In Summary, if you enjoy being lied to, to being charged hundreds of dollars more than the written contract states, having valuable possessions and your house destroyed, having your pets terrorized, having very sloppy and sub par work done at your house, and having your card billed *without* your authorization, then please hire this company. If you hate this kind of garbage done by a company you hired to improve, not make your home worse, then run away and Do Not Hire this company to do anything for you, for they will do in the most horrendous way. We have the photos to back up this review and we were both home during this installation. We found this company from a book called “Best Pics Report" and if this is the best they have, we will never hire anyone from their list ever again.
