  Tim took good care of this project from the start. He's rebuilding Morton's rep in the Central Texas area and doing a great job at it. Glad I called Tim. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and great follow up.

  Tim and his team at Morton did a great job throughout the entire process of our new barn build on our ranch. They were very helpful and flexible with timing and reviewing construction plans. We were able to process payments easily online without any convince fees or hassle. I highly recommend them and plan to use them for any future builds we have.

  Called them twice, indicating that I was ready to go with a project. First time I never got a response. Second time I was told that they had been really busy and things fell through the cracks, but that had been fixed. That same afternoon I got a text from a sales person. I briefly described my scope over text and suggested we have a phone call - no response. About 2 weeks later I got another text saying "I'm still working on your quote". Never heard from them again. Sounds like this is indicative of every aspect of their operation. Oh, and I found another local vendor who was happy to take the job and provided great quality and customer service.

  Evidently it's an issue based on previous reviews but we called a few times for an estimate on a barn and left messages and never got contacted.

  I'd give them 0 stars if that were an option. I made the unfortunate mistake of having these folks construct a small 700 sq ft garage/cabin. I could have had two custom homes built in the time it took them to complete this job. Every detail of the Morton contract you have to go over it with them to make sure you're getting what you pay for. Ask for an insulated cabin, you'd think that meant the entire cabin would be insulated. No, not with these people, they'll insulate two walls and tell you the contract doesn't specify insulating the ceiling. I paid to have them general contract the job, sales person was fired so that fell through and I ended up being the point man to get the job completed and deal with the contract folks they had hired. Save yourself the misery and stay away from Morton Buildings out of Waco. I could not have asked for a worse experience than dealing with these people.
