  My wife and I are extremely happy with our custom home. This is the second home we have lived in built by this homebuilder. Attention to details and working with us on the design and exclusive additions is rare in the building industry. They are not just builders. They are craftsmen on a scale I have never seen. If we ever move again, this is the only builder I would trust to build our home. I would urge anyone to discuss your plans with Charlie and his team. I think you will be more than pleased.

  Very professional throughout entire process. We are very happy with the extension to our home. Charlie is very experienced in the business and he was always transparent and responsive. The renovation went smoothly and I would highly recommend greater texas builders.

  This review is a bit late but none the less an honest and sincere. Our home was purchased in the Summer of 2009 after my wife and I return to Texas to raise our children and to be closer to our family (mother and father). Both our roots were founded in South Texas. Charles Hazenbuehler of "Greater Texas Builders" constructed our home in 2004 (20 years ago), and both he and his family lived here until the Sumer of 2009, after my wife and I (with kids in tow) moved in. The floor plan of the home is unique and original, it is most certainly a custom home as opposed to a cookie cutter spec home. My business is strucutral consulting, and I am a practicing structural engineer with nearly 30 years experience across multiple industries, including residential. I can say with absolute confidence, especially having lived in this same home for approximately 15 years, that Greater Texas Builders constructed a high quality home. No issues with the foundation and the visible framing within the attic space was constructed with good construction practices. The appliance and interior finishes are both upgrades from the usual or typical home. Even today, after all these years our home has held-up very well, exceptionally well. Based on my experience, you can't go wrong with Greater Texas Builders', they are experienced custom home builders and decades of established or proven experience; few builders are of this caliber, you won't go wrong by placing your trust in the company that Charlie Hatzenbuehler built, Greater Texas Builders..
