I contacted SF on 8/1 to pour a concrete countertop for my outdoor kitchen and our conversation went like this. SF: Hi, Vince with SF, send pic and we'll get this taken care of in no time. ME: 8/9 Sorry for delay personal issues came up. When can you start? SF: No rush, I will let you know sometime Monday. ME: 8/12 Hi, checking to see if you have a time yet. SF: 8/14 Not yet. Currently only available is 29th or the 1st. Me: Ok pls put me down for 1st available SF: 9/2 My guy will be there Saturday Me: 9/6 Anyone showing up today? SF: 9/6 apologizes for miscommunication. He says workers didn't show bc of rain.( no rain in my area) Your project is important, we'll squeeze you in this weekend. It's peak season. As of today my project still isn't done and I've no communication with SF since 9/8. This goes against what I told during our initial conversation, "we can get you done in no time." I didn't get other bids, I altered my schedule, I even missed my granddaughters parade bc they assured me they would be there. Communication was a 2 at best! I'm genuinely frustrated! In the end all a man has is HIS word and he didn't keep his word!
