  I wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent service I received from Ben Wallace, your Tradesman Plumber, when he came out to my home in Kennedale. Ben performed a full sewer camera inspection on my main sewage line and gave me one of the most detailed, easy-to-understand evaluations I’ve ever had from any contractor. Using the camera, he carefully mapped the entire run and quickly identified a significant 30-foot-long belly (sag) in the pipe directly under the house. He took the time to show me the live footage, point out exactly where the low spot was forming, explain how it was trapping solids and causing slow drainage/backups, and describe why the slope issue had developed over time. He didn’t rush and made sure I fully understood the problem instead of just giving me a quick diagnosis. After the inspection, Ben laid out several practical resolution options with clear pros, cons, and realistic expectations.

  Mother’s modern plumbing was really great. Tyler came out same day within 1 1/2 hours after requesting service for what turned out to be cast iron pipes failure on a home we bought less than 2 weeks prior. We were given 3 options but my husband and I decided to go with the permanent fix instead of wasting more money and time on bandaids. We were luckily able to finance the work to have all of our failed sewer system replaced and within 2 1/2 hours of Tyler showing up we were scheduled the next day to start the trench work. This was on Monday. Through no fault of their own it took a day longer due to our house being built on a rock bed. Instead of waiting Julio and Mauricio and their team went ahead and started working on unrelated issues that we were needing done like our new water heater, dishwasher installation, and a vent issue that was previously known. They were able to start on the pipe replacement on Friday and were working through the evening trying to get it all done. They were able to complete everything except the small amount under my kitchen sink due to a complete collapse. They returned Saturday morning and by 2pm I had everything fixed and ready to go. Throughout everything from Tyler to Julio and Mauricio all my questions were answered in detail, patiently, and respectfully. They gave me updates regularly and at the end of the day. They updated me on what to expect as we moved through each stage. Every night we had working bathrooms and water. They went above and beyond to not only get the work done correctly and efficiently but also taking into consideration how it would look when they are finished. The warranty is for 30 years and we will have a structural engineer report for the backfill. While this has been a nightmare for our first home purchase, Mothers has truly helped to lessen the stress of our situation. We will continue to use them as they are not only customer oriented but their employees rave about how good the company treats them. Thats as important to my husband and I as the customer service is. We really appreciate all the help the company provided us. Thank you!

  Ben was the person who did the initial appt. He was knowledgeable and professional. He answered all the questions. Identified the problem (hole in sewage pipe) and discussed options. There was no pressure to go with the company. He just gave facts and let me decide. The two persons that came to do the work today 4/7 were fantastic. They introduced themselves. Both were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They covered the area they were working with plastic and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Mother Modern for repairs. If I have any issues in the future I would use them again.

  I had been experiencing main drain issues in my home for months but this last time I was not able to get it cleared. I needed someone right away and I contacted Mother Modern Plumbing at 230 pm on Good Friday and their master plumber Tyler was at my home in 30 minutes. He was able to clear the drain but also diagnosed the issue as a root ball. I had Mother plumbing tunnel under my home a few days later to repair the problem which was a 45 degree fitting that was separating from the main line. (The house is 20 years old) Grant directed the dig team on where to dig and then he made the repair. Tyler and Grant were very professional, communicated clearing with me what to expect and were punctual. Outstanding job by both of them and Mother’s plumbing! I purchased a membership and will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs.

  Main water line leak between the city meter and the shut off valve at front of the house. Been leaking for a long while. Dug up area and found old Crest pipe leaking. Receive estimate to replace pipe from meter to front of house shut off. Jessie with Mother Modern came out this morning and checked the issue. We discussed possible repair options and he supplied estimate to pull new pex pipe at a reasonable cost with a 20 year warranty. He then prepped the end areas of the line replacement selected. James came by awhile later and pulled the new line (60+ feet) from the front of house to the meter area through the old Crest pipe. Julio and his assistant arrived after James updated him with pictures of end connections, for possible needed fittings/parts. New ball valves were installed on new line at the meter outlet to house and at the front of house cutoff. They then filled the hole that had been dug to access the original leak with the removed dirt. Thank you for that clean up procedure.
