In response to my google review. Sunbelt unit 1110359 was dropped off at our business before we opened without any notice or contact from anyone at Sunbelt. We did not order any such equipment. After Sunbelt unloaded the equipment they backed the equipment into one of our parking places with the bucket hosted up. This parking spot that Sunbelt choose to use was by an entrance/exit gate to the back of our shop. We rent parking spots in the back of our shop and tenants use this gate for 24/7 access. Unit 1110359 was parked in a way that the raised host was in danger of being hit by trucks entering the rear portion our yard. A few days later a Sunbelt Rentals truck came back to pick up the equipment. He indicated that it is common for Sunbelt Rentals customer’s to order equipment for a job site and use the closest address to that jobsite for delivery purposes even though they know it’s the wrong address. After the driver left, I called the Fort Worth Texas Sunbelt Rentals number to address my concerns and extremely disappointed in his solution to my problems. The responses I got from gentlemen at Sunbelt along with the driver were to: 1) Contact the Sunbelt customer who originally ordered the equipment and used our address and resolve it so it doesn’t happen again. 2) Have the Sunbelt equipment towed. 3) Secure the Sunbelt equipment in our shop and charge Sunbelt storage fee’s. 4) Call the Police. 5) Was told to do what I have to do. I was stunned, and still am, that that was the response I received. Please respond as to how I need to handle this problem when it happens again. They drop off equipment at the wrong addresses, block private driveways and could care less. Watch out for false invoicing.

I called Sunbelt to inquire about a portable heater to heat my garage floor before an epoxy application. Brent recommended the appropriate sized heater and he even took it to the Sunbelt Rental location closer to me because it was on his way home. Great service!

I had called the previous week for a quote on an Insulation Vaccuum. Today I went to rent it. I paid and noticed an extra charge on my invoice before leaving. Over the phone or in person they don’t tell you that they will Force you to pay a Rental Protection Plan. I requested the removal of the Plan because I’m not in need of it and I was not told about it prior to paying. Manager came out all “Authoritarian” saying NO REFUND, you have to pay for the plan or I won’t rent you the equipment. I said, ok, I’m not interested in anything so I’m requesting my Full Refund. He said “OK” and walked away. I guess he didn’t care. First time ever Walking into a Sunbelt Rental…. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
