American Water took over for them at some point. Bottom line, two Kinetico water softener units in my former home lasted a combined total of 38 1/2 years. So, when I recently purchased another home after selling my first home (leaving the still working softener unit with the house) and then renting for 18 months in the interim, I contacted AW and purchased a new water softener and a reverse osmosis system with installation for my new home. Daniel and Johnny were my installers and did an excellent job. All of the American Water employees that I've dealt with are very helpful, responsive and qualified. I highly recommend them.
