We arranged to have a free estimate for solar screens as we were planning on comparing estimates between multiple local companies. We were initially impressed with this company as they were the first to contact us and set up an estimate. Darrin called us and left a voice mail with the quote and told us he hoped we hadn't wasted his time. We thought that was a bit odd but returned his call and let him know we were still waiting on our other estimates and would be in touch soon. He then began screaming at my husband that this was ridiculous and he has run all over town for us (we live 1 mile from this business, so I'm not quite sure what he was referring to). My husband then asked why they offered free estimates when they knew that customer could potentially go elsewhere. Darrin then hung up on him. I followed up by calling back and asked to speak with an owner or manager. Darrin answered the phone and told me to hold on while he got him. He waited 10 seconds and reintroduced himself as the manager. Super professional right! I told him nevermind, I had my answer and would definitely not be doing business with them. He then launches into a tirade about his wasted time and he doesn't have time for my crap. I didn't bother responding and hung up the phone. If this guy is the owner/manager I can't see how he is in business with that attitude.
