I choose allied to do my foundation back in 2021 in sugarland. They gave me a price too good to be true. I should have known at the time that the work was not going to be great. The crew worked hard and was professional but the repair failed in less than a year. I had another company come out and drive more cylinders on top of their pile because they didn’t drive to what engineers say is refusal. The company who did work after them drove 8 to 14 more cylinders on the existing pile.

I am not saying run from this company. BUT, walk very deliberately. Be sure to demand detailed tunnelling diagrams, pier installation, and relative elevation measurements. MOST IMPORTANT! Demand the hydrostatic test be conducted BEFORE the company backfills the tunnels. They are quoting me to re-tunnel loose excavated dirt and/or small additional tunnel distance at 150% of the warranty tunneling price. For the actual work crews digging and working to level the house, I was pleased. It's the post leveling that has become a nightmare. This process has dragged on for a month and the house is in disrepair as we work our way through this. Current quoting puts the warranty work at 126% of the original foundation repair. Sure inflation is a thing... but a warranty work shouldn't cost more than the original work.

I want to start by saying that the actual foundation work was both fast and efficient, The problem that I have is with the clean up. When they dug the necessary holes in the lawn no effort was made to save the grass to be used to replace at the end of the job. When they refilled the holes some holes where left 2" to 3" below ground level while others were up to 4" to 5" above ground level. During the follow up phone call I explained the problem and was told that they would take care of the problem snd call me back with a time. No call ever came , I have since had s landscape company out to level all the holes to ground level and replace all the grass,

I used Allied when I discovered many of my neighbors did. They use tried and true technology and I was very nervous beforehand. It's a scary problem, but they assured me it would be A-OK when done. It was. Now it is my turn to recommend them along with my many neighbors. I had just paid $1,500 for mulch around the foundation in the flower beds and palm tree areas. When it was all done, the place was actually cleaner than when they started. As a retired engineer I was amazed at what they did and how they did it, and the end result. Get a quote from them, they will check everything out, choose them and you won't be disappointed.

While working with another foundation company, leak tests were performed on our house in west Houston which was built in 1975. The tests determined we had a leak and they located it. We chose Allied to repair the plumbing because of their excellent reputation. They repaired it expertly— and also found three additional leaks that the other leak detection service missed. The following week, they changed their schedule to be able to return and fix the remaining problems so we could stay on schedule with the foundation company we hired. A lot of companies talk about how they treat you like family but they often fall short of that. Allied not only kept their word but also cleaned up their work area and those of the foundation company (without being asked to do so). There is no one else I would call for help now. They ARE the best.
