- JJJimOct 28, 20251.0Very disappointed with our experience with Alpha. Sure, they gave us the best quote out of several well companies — but at what cost? After signing and getting the permit, we were told drilling would be in 2–3 months, which we knew was normal. Then the waiting game began. Months passed with no updates unless I reached out first. Each time, I heard a new version of the same story: “Our rig’s in the shop, should be 2–3 weeks.” Then, “Rig’s broken again, give us 2 more weeks.” This went on for months, like a never-ending loop of excuses. Eventually, they promised, “You’re next in line!” only to call back days later saying, “Actually, we need the bigger rig — maybe 3 more weeks.” By then, our permit was about to expire, and my patience already had. I canceled with Alpha and found another driller who’s been knowledgeable, responsive, and proactive — they’re drilling this Friday, just two weeks after we first spoke. If you’re thinking of going with Alpha, I’d suggest being very sure you’re getting professional service… and maybe have a backup plan ready.

The lady who answered the phone was super friendly. The company didn’t file for my permit for almost a month and didn’t notice til I asked. Then filed the wrong form. Now 6 weeks later communication is intermittent and can’t get on the schedule. Doesn’t seem like this is their standard but this was my experience.
