    Great service. The guy that came, Jose, came late, around 930pm, after working all day on other jobs and was able to fix our issue. (The office staff kept us updated on his arrival time) He was helpful and nice, even after being exhausted, I'm sure, from working all day already. Will definitely continue using this company.

    UPDATED RESPONSE: I’d suggest you take a good look internally to see how you can do things better as opposed to insinuating I am just looking for a discount. You may want to consider the following for jobs such as mine: - Is the service technician supposed to just connect wires, or should they also connect the system to WiFi, assist the customer with linking the system to the app/website, and provide some training on the functionality of the product… Based on what I was told when I made the purchase, my expectation was yes. I’m glad you defend your employees, but your tech did none of these. You can confirm this with Tammy, who I called a few minutes after the tech left when I realized how much was left for me to do. I paid a premium for service, so upon not receiving it and doing all of this myself a request for a discount is completely reasonable. - Does your company provide a checklist to ensure that your field team is doing the job properly that the customer signs off on? Nope. In summary, yesterday I had a completely different experience with ADT. The technician came and explained exactly what he was going to do, installed the system, assisted with connecting it to the WiFi and app, then trained me on the functionality, asked if I had any questions, etc. I then signed on exactly what he had done and covered…. That’s a 5 star review. You may want to take a look internally to see how you can improve your processes. I should have probably given a 1 star review based on the actual experience but I gave 3 because Tammy was helpful and tried her best. Original Post: Upgraded my thermostats on a new house so I could control remotely. 2 thermostats and 1 small surge protector was over $1,000… but had to use them or it would have voided the HVAC warranty. Bent over a barrel. Technician did not train or connect to WiFi… connected and ran.

    Jose came out to my house it was the first time I had used Lone Star before, he was very friendly and helpful. I helped him chase down several things and he was really a nice guy. He had to go up in the attic a couple of times on a kind of warm November afternoon he was very nice and helpful and a good guy to talk to.
