  Its a rarity for me to do a review but I have to speak on my experience with Brightland homes in Bridgland Cypress TX. From the moment I walked thru the doors and there after I was always greeted with a smile as if I was the most important person buying a home. Everything was seamless and my sales consultant Aunjanique Collier was excellent thru the entire process. Anything that I needed or had questions about she was on top of it to get me an answer. Dont get me wrong we did have 2 issues but it had nothing to do with the builder. We got hit with the Derecho in May of 2024 and right after here comes Hurricane Beryl. These 2 storms put an enormous strain on Centerpoint which caused a delay in my section getting meters and getting energize. Besides these things everything went perfect. From my sale consultant to her colleague Colin to Paul the construction manager and finally the mortgage officer Olena; it was a great experience. I highly recommend the Brightland team in Bridgeland.

  Brightland homes in Bridgeland is the place to be! Their product and design for the price can’t be beat. The customer service is also top notch! Make sure if you are considering Bridgeland stop by and see Brightland homes. Working with Collin Kerley is the epitome of excellence.

  I signed a contract for a Brightland home on 3/28/2024. I was originally told the home would be completed by November, and it is approaching February with no closing date. I was told that they are waiting on an electric meter but I don’t necessarily believe this to be true because of the lack of communication from the builder. I am a veteran and Federal employee and I am very unhappy with the services and the treatment I have received from Brightland. Throughout this process they have not been transparent about what funds are going to what, and why things have to be paid in advance for the year. I was told that the home was in a flood zone, but the person I spoke to said it’s not and there was an error with the paperwork, which in turn caused me to require flood insurance. The builder did not disclose this information upfront, so I do feel that they have been hiding and giving misleading information this whole time. Not only that, but the home has sat for months with no A/C so there was a concern about mold growing on the property. I was advised by a Brightland employee to get a mold inspection done and the mold inspection came back with mold everywhere in the home. The inspector advised me that after I closed on the home he wanted to come back out and reassess to see if the mold continued to grow. I notified the builder and they told me that there would be nothing they could do regarding the mold situation, despite me paying $500 for a mold inspection because one of their employees advised me to. My last grievance with this builder is the lack of understanding and failing to return any phone calls to rectify the situation, which is why I’m filing this complaint. The President advised that all federal employees are required to return to the office full time, which therefore would require me to have to relocate in the next 30 days. I contacted the builder to request my money back and I am being told that I will only receive a small portion of the money back. I requested to speak to a manager and everyone I have spoken to has given me the run around, and I have requested to speak to a manager twice with no callback yet. This is very unprofessional, and I would not recommend building a home with them.
