They did a great job. Pointed out how a portion of my existing gutters were not installed correctly and did a fast, efficient job with the new portions.

River City Gutters was recommended to me by Homestead Roofing, who installed a new metal roof on our home several years ago. Glenn, one of the owners, and his team installed a beautiful gutter system that was exactly was I needed, and appears to be working as I had hoped. Their pricing was fair, scheduling was a breeze, and the quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend.

I recently had my home foundation stabilized and part of the ongoing maintenance to ensure the foundation wouldn’t continue to settle, I had rain gutters installed around my entire house to keep water away and from eroding the soil surrounding the foundation.
I spent several weeks researching different rain gutter companies in San Antonio (i.e., Customer reviews, warranty information on labor and materials, BBB postings, pricing) as well as scheduling estimates with five different rain gutter companies (including River City Gutters). Despite all companies coming back with very similar estimates, I chose River City Gutters. Working with Caylon (Sales Manager), he was very easy to work with, he answered all of my questions, and he wasn’t pushy. His pricing was also very competitive and overall am very happy with the quality of work the company did when installing all gutters and downspouts. If you are looking to have rain gutters installed, I would recommend giving River City Gutters a call.

Why are gutters important for my home?
Gutters are essential for protecting your home by directing rainwater away from the foundation. This prevention of water damage, soil erosion, and potential basement flooding helps maintain your property's structural integrity. Contact River City Gutters today to begin your gutter installation process.
How often should I clean my gutters?
Our team recommends cleaning your gutters at least twice a year, typically in spring and fall. However, if your property is surrounded by many trees, more frequent cleaning may be necessary to ensure optimal gutter function. For any questions about gutter installation or cleaning, please don't hesitate to contact us.
What are the signs of clogged or damaged gutters?
Signs of clogged or damaged gutters include water overflowing during rainfall, water accumulating around your home's foundation, and visible damage such as cracks or rust spots on the gutter system. If your gutters are severely damaged, we recommend contacting us for a new gutter installation.
Can I install gutters on my own, or should I hire a professional?
While DIY gutter installation is possible, we highly recommend professional installation for optimal results. According to Modernize, most U.S. homes require between 100 to 200 linear feet of gutters, which can be challenging for an amateur. Professional installation ensures better performance, durability, and helps avoid potential future issues.
What materials are gutters made from?
Gutters are manufactured using various materials including aluminum, copper, vinyl, steel, and zinc. Each material offers unique benefits and drawbacks in terms of longevity, cost, and aesthetic appeal. We encourage you to contact us for more information before scheduling your gutter installation.
How do I choose the right size of gutters for my home?
Selecting the appropriate gutter size depends on factors such as your roof's dimensions and local rainfall patterns. While 5-inch and 6-inch gutters are most common, a professional can assess your specific needs and recommend the best size for your gutter installation.
What are gutter guards, and do I need them?
Gutter guards are protective devices designed to prevent debris from entering your gutters, reducing the frequency of required cleaning. They come in various designs with different levels of effectiveness. The necessity of gutter guards depends on your specific situation and preferences. We can assist you with both gutter installation and gutter guard projects.
How long do gutters last?
The lifespan of gutters varies depending on the material used. In our experience, aluminum and vinyl gutters typically last between 20 to 30 years, while copper gutters can endure for up to 50 years or more with proper maintenance before requiring replacement.
What are the signs that gutters need to be replaced?
Indications that gutters need replacement include visible cracks, holes, rust spots, sagging sections, or gutters separating from the roof. These issues suggest that your gutter system may no longer be functioning effectively, signaling the need for a new gutter installation.
What are seamless gutters, and are they better?
Seamless gutters are custom-made to fit your home's specific dimensions, reducing the potential for leaks and minimizing maintenance requirements. If chosen for your gutter installation, they are generally considered more effective and durable than traditional sectional gutters.
