- FFForSheepSakesAug 11, 20251.0If I had one word to describe the level of service and my experience with this United rentals Branch, it would be the word, despicable. Sales associate at United rentals decided to fire me as a customer for a mistake that they made. I was expecting delivery of large equipment to my job site Friday afternoon and because of the mistake the associate made, the driver could not get a hold of me. I was waiting for the delivery, despite the mistake even speaking to a united rentals associate letting them know that there must be some kind of mistake and I will be waiting for the delivery. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting for the delivery I watched as my delivery driver drove right by me. When I saw this, I immediately called United rentals letting them know that Iâm waiting for that delivery and if they could contact the driver, let him know to just turn around, and I will accept the delivery. Over 10 minutes goes by and I donât hear anything from him so I called back. He proceeds to tell me itâs my fault and that I should get a Texas phone number instead. After I returned the dump trailer, which had absolutely no use since they failed to deliver my excavator, the associate decides that heâs no longer going to rent to me because he made a mistake on the paperwork and that itâs all my fault. Even after proving to him that the number he wrote down on the paper for delivery was wrong. He wasnât about to take any responsibility for any mistake he had made. This level of service is out of line. In no way shape or form was this gentleman about to do anything to help his customer. He even referred me to his competitor. In my opinion, my experience here is that these are not sales associates these are anti-sales associates. My advice, rent from anybody else, iâm renting from Home Depot. Itâs actually cheaper.
