  I am leaving Higginbotham Brother's at this moment, and thanks to David, half of my "honey-do's" have been either completed, or a solid plan has been established to do so. I approached David, informing him that I needed someone to assist me who didnt necessarily need to be the smartest person available. I needed the most patient person. David was obviously busy getting geared up for the holidays when I approached him, and he immediately put aside his work to assist me. To the person in a position to promote and increase employees wages: Promote David immediately to the next level and give him a raise. He is ready. He is keeping your business profitable because he knows that the only way to be successful in retail is to make as much money as possible. And every nickle the company generates comes from customers.

  I didn't realize returning unused unneeded items with a receipt was such a problem. We're in here quite a bit with the different projects we do and quite honestly it's always miserable. We will gladly drive the extra half hour to Tyler to never have to go here again

  Walking into Higgenbotham Brothers is like stepping into a hardware store designed by a dentist’s waiting room. Everything is organized, quiet, and soul-crushingly sterile. The hammers are lined up like they’re about to be drafted. The paint section has all the personality of a filing cabinet. And not a single employee looks like they’ve ever yelled “YEE-HAW” while fixing a fence. No smell of sawdust. No creaky wooden floors. Just cold tile, fluorescent lights, and the distant hum of a place that forgot what it meant to be brothers.
