I am shocked and astounded at my hideous experience today. As a first time ever Radiant Plumbing customer - I now have a NON-WORKING brand new, shiny hot-water-heater looking tube in my attic that cost me 6K or so. Company says maybe they'll come do "warranty" work tomorrow... (since they installed it, it's not "new" - no matter that it never produced)
Edit: My original post was day of install. Today is the day after. By the time Radiant responded to my original post, I had called their suggested number 3 times. On my 3rd call, they finally heard me explain that their solution was either going to cause me to miss important scheduled medical tests today OR loose over $1K in income since my business partner would have to cancel a paid client to cover the appointment. Unfortunately, none of those 3 people were interested in that level of inconvenience until I asked the 3rd person if they thought it might also appear interesting to a small claims court. Radiant came and fixed their installation error(s) last night & I took a hot bath at 10PM. Now... off to my tests!

Outstanding Service – Manny is a True Professional!
We recently had Radiant Plumbing out to our home in the Lakeway area for a water heater replacement and to address our whole-house water pressure issues. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our technician, Manny.
Manny was absolutely amazing – extremely patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to walk us through all our options for the water heater, explaining the pros and cons clearly so we could make the best decision for our home and budget. He didn’t rush us or push anything; it felt like he truly cared about getting it right.
Beyond that, he also spotted and thoroughly explained a bad shower valve in our guest bathroom. He showed us exactly what was wrong, why it was an issue, and what we needed to do to fix it properly (including steps we could handle ourselves if we wanted). His communication was clear, professional, and kind – no jargon overload, just straightforward advice that made us feel informed and confident.
The work was done cleanly, efficiently, and to a high standard. Manny’s professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to educate us really stood out in an industry where that’s not always the case. If you’re looking for trustworthy plumbing service in the Austin area, Radiant (and especially Manny!) is the team to call. We’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and family.
Thank you, Manny and Radiant Plumbing – you made a stressful situation easy and stress-free!

The installers did a very good job but communicating with my coordinator who was out sick with the flu caused a lot of distress because I did not know he was at home sick with the flu because no one told me That’s one of the problems that you will read about repeatedly in reviews—the communication with this company is not good at all, in fact, it is very poor and it’s really quite misleading that they advertise themselves as having all of these thousands of five star reviews when in fact that really is not true if you look at their reviews and you go to the one star there are countless one star two stars and three stars. I will repeat that the installers worked very hard but communicating with the office, getting anyone to call back or to email or to text is virtually nonexistent. That was my experience. Therefore, I cannot recommend them and I will not use them again. There is still some work that has yet to be completed despite the fact that I was told eight days ago that it would be done. They had to take down some curtains and remove some wooden pieces around the perimeter of the ceiling and all that now is on the floor and it’s quite annoying actually. I have made the decision to withhold final payment until this job is completed 100%. Of course they have not told me when that will happen and they probably won’t. Somebody will just probably show up.
Added response: you say get in touch with you, and yet that has been the most significant problem I have had---getting in touch with you, getting you to call back, or text back, or email back. It seems very ironic that your solution is to give you a call.

UPDATE: I did speak to Alexandra from customer service and was able to voice my concerns. She wanted to make things right and it seemed like she really cared about my experience. I did get a 10% refund which was nice and a year of service. I will give them another chance, and I hope they take feedback seriously.
I wonder if it’s the fact that they know you can’t fix your own plumbing, that makes people speak to you in such a disrespectful way. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience.
The technician who came to my home was polite on the surface, but the overall tone of the interaction felt condescending. I was spoken to in a way that suggested I couldn’t understand basic information, which is not how a homeowner should be treated.
I was presented with multiple “options,” but one of them didn’t appear to be a realistic or viable choice. It felt more like a pressure tactic than a genuine solution. I was also told that financing was available, only to later be told that it wasn’t, which was both confusing and frustrating.
The cost of my water tank replacement was also extremely high in my opinion. Not at all what I looked up online and heard from other people, which makes me wonder how they set their prices.
What bothered me most was the lack of transparency and follow-through. The technician left without showing me how to properly drain the tank and without walking me through the condition of my old water heater. There was no clear explanation of what I was looking at or why certain recommendations were being made.
When inviting a service provider into your home, you expect professionalism, clarity, and respect. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on all three. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously, as I would appreciate an explanation and a commitment to better communication for future customers.

WOW! Staff is very professional, kind, timely, great communication! All for a great price. We were paying almost double this with our previous company and were not treated well.
I had the opportunity to serve one of the owners and was so impressed. He definitely imparts his great attitude on his company and the culture there shows it.
AB served us and was a delight!
How nice to find a company that treats you well as a customer and appreciates your business.
We became one of their members and for $300 a year (or $25/mth) they complete:
1. Spring HVAC clean up, tune up and inspect your entire AC system before the heat hits.
2. Fall HVAC clean up, tune up and inspect your entire Heating system before the colder weather comes.
3. Inspect all your plumbing, check your water pressure and complete your water softener annual flush.
4. 10%. off any additional service
5. No service fee if you need a technician to come to your home.
What deal! Previously I paid over $100 just for my water heater flush. The Radiant tech (AB) also did an inspection of the rest of my house and our water pressure. AB showed us that the water pressure from the city was too high. Our house is six years old. How long has it been too high? With our previous company, I was paying $198 each time (spring/fall) the other company came out to tune up my HVAC. So the membership saves me $200 right off the bat. Super impressed.
