  Daniel R. was fantastic. He came out to fix our water heater and made the whole process easy and stress-free. He was punctual, professional, and clearly knows his stuff. He fixed it quickly and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Honest, efficient, and great to work with. Highly recommend!

  Technician himself was friendly, though he begged for a 5-star rating which mentioned his name to give him a bigger bonus "and let him put food on the table for his kids" or something like that at the end of the appointment--pretty sure that's why they have such high reviews, despite not being honest or good prices. I had HVAC issues, called Goettl for a free second opinion, and they diagnosed a failing compressor, recommended replacing the entire system, and quote $17k for. When I seemed skeptical, the supervisor told the tech to check my coils for leaks, and allegedly found many (subsequent companies said they did NOT find leaks). I said I'd shop around more; when I let them know I was going with a lower priced competitor, they offered to do $11k, which is quite a drop, and shows how much profit margin they bake in. Ended up getting a better unit from Lakeway AC for $9800, defintely would not call Goettl again.

  I hired them because the a/c unit in my house wasn't cooling. We have two units. They sent 2 men, 1 was training and the other observing. They spent hours determining the txv circuit needed to be replaced. ordered it from manf since its under warranty. $600. Day 2 they sent a different team to installed the circuit on the wrong unit (the one that was working properly). The "training crew" put the wrong unit in the notes that needed to be repaired. Had to order 2 new txv circuits because the one they installed on the wrong unit was not the correct size. Now they have to come back for 3rd day to install the correct parts. Day 3 installed the txv on the main unit that was the problem all along, it cooled for 18hrs and now it's not working . I've paid them of $2,600 for this work and we are still back to where we started. If you want professional service don't call Goettl (you get A1 trying to answer your questions unless you demand a live person), they send training crews and you never seem to get anyone familiar with your specific issue.

  Brent was very helpful and honest with me when he discovered both my household and city shutoff valves needed replacing, which required coordinating with Round Rock Utility's own plumbers. He unburied my household shutoff valve and put a PVC sleeve between its replacement and the manhole cover, so that it wouldn't get buried in soil again.

  I was very pleased with the service provided by Goettl and Josh in particular when I needed help with a leaky faucet. I appreciated the easy online scheduling and quick response time. Josh did excellent work and was very kind and professional. He communicated clearly what my options were and what the associated costs would be. Thank you for the great service! I would not hesitate to use Goettl again.
