  In the summer of 2024, we decided to replace all the floors in our house along with updating the kitchen and bathrooms. Our initial attempts to find qualified contractors did not go well. We had zero confidence in their proposed solutions, scheduling, price estimations and communication styles. Late on a particularly frustrating Friday afternoon, we passed a flooring store we had seen many times, Floor Centers of Texas. A fixture among the businesses on Burnet Road, we knew a company that had been around that long must be doing things right, so we went in. We met the owner, Garett Koch and vented our concerns with some of the solutions earlier contractors had proposed. He listened, asked a few questions and gave us honest answers. We immediately liked Garett and set up a meeting the following week where we met and reviewed the project scope in detail. Garett explained that while he could help us with much of the work, several things we wanted were beyond the services of FCT. With years of experience, Garett knew many qualified tradesmen that he could recommend the remaining projects. After meeting with the other contractors, we were able to address everything in our project scope. While we dealt separately with each of the other contractors, Garett was crucial in coordinating what turned out to be an aggressive schedule. The project began on time, stayed on budget and was completed on schedule. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials and workmanship of the experienced FCT crew and the other crafts. We were impressed with the coordination and the outstanding communication maintained throughout the project.   I was in a panic and needed wood floors installed ASAP. I visited a lot of flooring stores in Austin over a three day period and chose to work with Floor Centers of Texas. Could not have made a better decision! Garett is super knowledgeable and his install crew was very professional. He fit me in last minute and was able to complete my entire house in a day and a half. I was so happy with the work, I had them come back and install carpet! You will love working with these guys!!

  I am so happy to have stumbled upon Garett and his team at Floors of Texas. We recently bought a new house and were hoping to get new floors installed quickly to speed up the moving process. On a whim, I decided to stop in the shop and see what they had. Garett was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out flooring that met my needs quickly. Within the week, his team was at the house installing the new floors. They did a fantastic job, and were very responsive during the whole process (lots of questions along the way). I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely go back if we ever decide to replace flooring in other parts of the house.

  We had such a great experience with Floor Centers of Texas. We dealt directly with Garett who was super friendly and knowledgable. When we walked into the store we thought we knew what we wanted, but we were so thankful we met Garett because he prevented us from making some big mistakes! He gave us very personalized and attentive service and went through the pros and cons of all the different flooring types and helped us make up our mind. We were on a budget but Garett made us feel like we were his most important customers. We got flooring installed in our entire house (1400 sq ft) and the men who installed it did a great job and finished on schedule. We would recommend this place to anyone who needs flooring, whether the job is large or small.
