- KLkyle LivelyJun 9, 20151.0So i bought a $220.00 piece of carpet from another retailer and dropped it off at North TX carpet binding to have the pattern cut out and binding done around the edges which included circles and inside corners , Karen told me that the corners would have slits to accommodate her sewing machine with the right angle binding tape attachment .. well see i just thought it was going to be some small slits and would be sewn to have strength , well boy was i wrong !!! they use sheetrock joint tape and hot glue to hold together 2 1/2" slits in my carpet and have them repair the circles they were unable to bind and just told them to patch the area with another scrap piece .. and that turned out like crap as well .. i paid $124.00 for the service and $220.00 the carpet so total 324.00 for a carpet i hate and i know will not last long ... I picked this place because of the advertisement through Google and seeing they were local within 30 miles of my house .. I will not be a return customer , if you have outside edges that you want done iim sure they can do it , but circles , acute angles , inside corners , forget it , ship it to someone with quality control and that takes pride in there work . if i could upload pictures i would ... but carpets going in the trash and im gonna go somewhere else
