  Wanted to charge my 70 year old mother $425 to change out the igniter and flame sensor on the furnace to her HVAC in addition to the $55 charge to give us the quote. The man was incredibly rude and would not stop aggressively talking about how he thought the igniter broke because someone broke it with a screwdriver and was irritated that the HVAC label was worn and unreadable. Also, when on the phone with the supplier, I heard him tell the supplier to give him the most expensive parts available because he did not realize I was standing there. I got another contractor and he replaced the igniter for $50 labor plus $40 for the part. The flame sensor just needed to be cleaned off. I think he just added the flame sensor replacement so that his quote didn't seem as exploitative.

  Poor customer service. Needing a plumber and called to set up an appointment several days ahead for a morning and be finished by noon. I go to work at 12:30 daily. They would not accommodate me. We are a longtime customer. I will stop our annual Scotco service plan and find a plumber that can come at 8:00 or 9:00 am. Good bye Scotco…..

  Clogged drain on Sunday - called at 7:30 Monday, and they were at the house by 10:30 and I was back in laundry business by 11:30. The guys are always very nice!

  Uh oh, don’t call Scottco! I’ve never felt so mistreated and taken advantage of by a company in my life. I got a few quotes for some plumbing repair and decided to call Scottco. The original quote was less than the other so I used their services. There was some extra work done to the property which needed to be addressed, but the final invoice came out to almost 3 times the original quote! They’re charging me almost $9000 for the service! Plumber took over a week to repair instead of the original “day or 2”, never showed up before noon and was gone before 5, smelled the house up with weed. I then had to pay thousands more to repair the damages left to my house. Someone start a gofundme please!
