If this company had any competition they would be out of business. It’s time for John Bowers to hand over the keys to someone who’s able to run it correctly. He and his staff are the worst electric providers in the state.
The communication at pickwick is nonexistent. No one ever answers the phone and if they do you get bounced around to 5 different folks who can’t help. I’ve been dealing with them for several weeks and can’t get anywhere. No one ever calls back and I was given a false number for management from the guy who schedules the crews.
The crew at pickwick tied in a new service at my property. They damaged my weather head and taped it up, installed a meter that appears to be from the 50s on a brand new building and left trash across my property.
I called and created a work order form them to come correct these items and i still haven’t had anyone come out.
Two weeks after the service was connected I loose power due to a lead on the transformer coming loose. They came back out to reconnect it and left more trash on my property and did not complete the items on my work order.
I’m now being told they will not replace the meter and they also haven’t came out and corrected the other items.
I was suppose to speak with a member of management, I believe his name is “John Lawson”. I’ve been trying to call him for two days and yet to get him on the phone.
This place is a joke. If you have other options for a service provider or can go off grid those are your best options.
Dealing with these incompetent people will have you pulling your hair out.

This place is the worst, customer service is terrible, everyone is rushing you and the fax line does not work to turn in my bill information so nothing is getting done.

I wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE at UPG for the hard work they have put in to keep delivering propane through the ice storm!!
Special thank you to Shelby and Bernice for going above and beyond for our Family!!!
We were with little to no heat for almost two weeks. It’s a long story but customer service like this is why I would recommend going with UPG.
I would be remiss if I did not send a huge thank you to Malcome! You are always so kind and great to us. 🙏
It’s easy when everything is going in your direction it’s when things get tough at times you see the best in people. THANK YOU!!!
