I decided to contact restopros after the Snow apocalypse in January rather then contacting Servpro like I did the first time I had this issue back in 2021 after the last ice storm. They were quick to come out and do an inspection and start work the next day for remediation. They seemed to be on top of everything. Atleast till I asked for a copy of the estimate for remediation. Then all communications were gone. I called multiple times and talked with Tina, Who assured me I’d get one in a day or two. Contacted the original guy that came out multiple times by phone who said he’s look into it and get back with me. Never heard anything. After calling and asking 6 times and sending another 4-5 text I have yet to still receive a copy of the estimate. I was fine with them working directly with me insurance but I still requested a copy for myself and my records and to make sure they weren’t charging for things that weren’t done but hard to hold the accountable when they refuse to get you a copy of the estimate. Lack of communication once we signed the work agreement for remediation was horrible. I had to call and speak with Tina because no one thought they should come and check on the dry out after 5 days. I guess this was part of there oh it should only take 2-4 days to dry it out and 7 days later the equipment is still in my house so they can rack up the bill more. Now I’m not getting a response or call back from anyone at RestoPros. This was about January 25th when I initially contacted them, to date I have yet to get it as of this post. 2-21-26.

I originally had given them a good rating, due to basically being handed a tablet specifically for a review from one of their team members. After most of the dust has settled, it was not that great of service. Without realizing, they came in did and all the work. When I was trying to get paid by insurance they realized I had never signed a contract. So when they finally sent it to me, even though I had asked for an estimate first, they assured me that it would go through no problem and that they had been talking to my insurance adjuster. They took all the bad stuff except the carpet piece that they were supposed to cut out, and didn't. They left the nasty moldy piece, and now I have to fight with insurance to get replaced. They also told insurance that I had a "standard" bathroom vanity, which it is not. Standard is 36, 48 or 60 inch, ours was a 50 inch long and 22 inch deep. So again I have to fight with insurance to get the replacements. Didn't tell insurance they pulled the insulation, or the tack stop to hold the carpet down. To say the lease this has been a nightmare. I will say, that there crew was good, probably just doing what they are told. Will not recommend to anyone.

We had some water damage to our ceiling as a result of the ice storm, and RestoPros was recommended by our plumber. They were super easy to work with - it was easy to get them scheduled to come out and do the initial demo, and they came to check on the drying process every day. They were really clear about what to expect along the way, too!

During Winter Storm Fern we had a pipe burst and the guys from Restopros were able to make it out that day. They were prompt, knew exactly what needed to be done, and they were super friendly (which is saying something considering how overwhelmed they were!). David and his team did a great job, and follow ups from Bobby were super helpful as well. Can't recommend these guys enough. You never want to be in this situation, but if you need damage mitigation services these guys are the best!
